New Registration Process
« on: September 10, 2015, 07:07:36 pm »
This year the check-in process will take place in the Welcome Center.  This is the big nice building all the way down past the tennis courts.

Buses will pull into its large parking lot, and advisors will enter the building (no students and no student unloading at this point).  We have two color coded lines this year:  Red Line is for making payments and Blue Line is for turning in paperwork and receiving your cabin assignment.  If you have to make a payment in the Red Line you will move to Blue Line after getting your receipt.  A receipt or $0 balance is required to be in the Blue Line.

Bags of conference materials will be picked up in the multipurpose room (same room as check-in last year), which is located on the ground floor of the food hall.  You will receive a check-in packet in the Welcome Center that contains a special ticket with your school name.  This ticket is required in order to pick up your bag of materials.  You will also find a map highlighting the general area of your cabin as well as a list of all the schools in your cabin.

Once you have completed check-in, you will take your students to their cabins.  Just a reminder that schools are NOT to be in their cabins before completing the check-in process.  Without the necessary paperwork on file, CORE attendees should not be on the property due to liability issues.

We hope this process runs faster and smoother and creates a better check-in experience for you.   As always, please make sure you bring all the necessary paperwork:  Advisor Contract, Student Behavior Contract, GaTSA Personal Liability/Media Release, and the Camp Waiver Form.  Having this paperwork ready to hand in will greatly speed up the process.

You can thank Ryan for getting this up and running for us. He was already on it before I left Jekyll. After Sam and Ryan gave me the options and cost comparisons, I gave them the green light last week. - SP
